At its core, this game is a very well-constructed point-and-click type of adventure game. You are in a location and running back and forth interacting with characters and doing tasks for them to get information that will progress the story.

At its core, this game is a very well-constructed point-and-click type of adventure game. You are in a location and running back and forth interacting with characters and doing tasks for them to get information that will progress the story.

Unfortunately for me, the story itself and the main/side characters didn't grab my attention or keep me very interested in the narrative being woven through those tasks. The art style and landscapes were nice to look at while you were running around, but I found myself wishing the story would go quicker and come to an end. Then, once the questions we were trying to answer throughout the game were revealed, I was really underwhelmed with the direction it ended up going.

I so badly wanted to love this game because it seemed so interesting and looked so beautiful at first glance. And while I still think it is beautiful and ultimately well crafted, it didn't grab me into an intriguing story like I was hoping.
