It has too many endings. By the time you've 100% it, you've grown numb to the horror of it. Reaching every ending is necessary to reach the true ending, and by the time you did, you're desensitized to the whole game, because reaching endings becomes a game of numbers, and you've seen the same unsettling scenes over and over and over again. DDLC pulled it's horror off because in order to 100% the game, you just gotta play through it two times, with reloading saves here and there. NSO has to be played through like 20 times before you reach the true ending
Other than that, it's a good game. The puke girl ending is really unsettling. I wish more of them were like that. I feel like a lot of the endings weren't as impactful as they should've been considering what was happening
This game is amazing. The level of detail and just the aesthetic of old school computer graphics is very nice. The darkness to the game is just perfect, and not knowing if i'm doing the right or wrong thing to create an insane outcome definitely puts you on your toes. Gonna have to keep playing to get all the different endings, so love the replayability of this game too!!!
This was such an aesthetically cute and interesting game where you help the main character become the #1 streamer. She deals with a lot of worries and self doubt that I can also empathize with as a streamer. Be aware that there are triggering topics of self harm, drug abuse, etc - it is a psychological horror after all. I enjoyed playing the game and had some laughs and was shocked at times. It's definitely a game I recommend streamers & moderators play!
story 3/5 dialogue 5/5 graphics 4/5 atmospheric/immersive: yes surpassed expectations: no
I had never heard of this until a friend saw a figure of the main girl he wanted to buy so we looked into it. I played it and got the Nymphomaniac and Dark Angel endings. It can be very dark in a variety of ways.
Random side thought: what the hell happened to Nintendo's standards for what they let on their systems?!
hmmm, the trailers for this looks pretty good it looks like it might scratch the ol' doki doki itch
