A few years ago, strange things started occurring in the usually quiet American school of Leafmore. Some students are said to have heard awful screams, and there is the talk of mysterious disappearances. After one of their friends mysteriously disappears, a group of students decides to investigate the disturbing events. One evening after class, they stay behind and are locked inside the school, determined to discover what is going on. Down long, dimly-lit corridors and in dark classrooms, Shannon, Kenny, Ashley, Stan, and Josh will try to find out why their school has become so terrifying - and will try to stay alive. Less

A Very Fresh Take On The Teen Survival Horror Genre Where No One Is The Useless Damsel In Distress.
This review is for the PlayStation 2 version

This game was a pretty fun survival horror game. The graphics are really good, even for today. The story could sound a little cliche it has that B-Movie feel to it. but I like it how it is. The controls are just perfect, The game has tank controls very similar to resident evil one on the PS1 but with a little tweak for the inventory. I don't know why people complain about it though. The monster design is awesome, and the music? Damn it has an awesome soundtrack. The only thing I don't like about the game is the co-op mode its not fun due to the limited resources but that's it. I highly recommend the game if you are into horror games.

I feel guilty for taking so long to try this game. I really enjoyed it; it gave me several scares that nearly gave me a heart attack, and the soundtrack is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere and graphics were a pleasant surprise. My only criticism is that it's quite short, it took me just over three hours to beat it. but man, what a game.

Jogo bom, mundo aberto apesar de linear, puzzle simples mas legais de se resolver, história simples mas não é chata. Mais ação do que terror, mas ainda sim conseguiu me deixar tenso em diversos momentos

This is absolutely scratching that itch I've been having for horror gaming. I miss old clunky games like this. It's also surprisingly good, given when it was released. It holds up well.

I really liked the mechanics of the game where each student has his skill for situations. Of the 5 students only two survived even on easy difficulty. I didn't find the plot nothing special. In some situations I found camera angles a bit frustrating.

There aren't that many co-op horror games out there, so when I saw Obscure for the PS2 my sister and I were VERY surprised. Glad to say, my sister and I got a kick out of this game. Think Resident Evil but just with 2 players :). We played this A LOT when I was middle school xD.
