Circa Infinity is an arcade puzzle platformer filled with action. Reach the core of each level by slipping through a series of circular layers. Time your jumps carefully to avoid the creatures that reside within the circles and reach the next layer. As you go deeper, the action gets faster and more challenging! Can you keep up? The standard mode includes 50 stages of mind-bending action, with 5 bosses that will test your nerves. You can also measure your time yourself in speedrun mode.

Circa Infinity: no must-have but definitely underrated, really worth its price though.

Circa Infinity is a good (puzzle?) platformer that will really mess with your brain. I grabbed it on steam for a few bucks not expecting much and was surprised at how good the level design is. The mechanics are kept simple and the game builds up on them throughout 5 parts, it features cool boss battles and presents a good ramping challenge, though it can get a bit frustrating at times. The aesthetics are really original and the gameplay is good, easily recommended if you can grab it on sale.

Experimental platformer with an interesting concept, but wasn't for me

-- Part of my Itch.io Bundle Project - Attempting to play and rate every game in the 2020 Bundle for Racial Justice --

  • Rating: 4.8 / 10
  • Year played: 2020
  • Playtime: 5-15 mins
  • Completion level: Played some, didn't finish
  • Verdict: Not my thing but maybe it's yours

A bizarre experimental "platformer" (there aren't really any platforms, at least in the traditional sense) with a cool aesthetic, good soundtrack, and hard-to-get-used-to control scheme. It wasn't really for me but there's probably an audience for this.
