Read moreA simple newer RTS, much like Total Annihilation. But somehow very compelling! I just saw it recommended on Reddit, and it's on sale right now for $3, so I bit. My first time trying it out, turned into a six-hour session! I almost never get so wrapped up in a game. It throws you right into a mission with no tutorial, plot, or anything. You figure out what to do, and beat it, and then bam the next one starts immediately. And then the next. It just goes on and on, introducing new units and complications as you go. Very cool game.
