Lygodesma's review of R.E.P.O.

This is a friendslop game very derivative of Lethal Company, just slightly more humoristic. If you haven't played LC before, this is great; if you already know it, it really feels like just more of the same.

Divertido, joguei com amigos e tal, tem bastante mods que deixam o jogo mais interessante, mas o jogo base é meio repetitivo e isso deixa chatinho depois de algumas horas de gameplay, oq salva é a zueira com os amigos

R.E.P.O.

This is very fun. Probably the best in the "co-op horror games where you go find objects and extract" genre. The physics, humor, and variety make it more fun.

Note: these type of games are really not enjoyable unless you play with a group of friends. It "can" be played solo but that's not enjoyable.

Intro

You walk around a building trying to find items to take to the deposit point while trying to avoid various kinds of monsters.

My sisters are really into this kind of thing and asked me to play it with them. I don't like 'hiding' games like Amnesia, nor 'multiplayer gathering' games like that one with the dwarves, so i figured i wouldn't like it. And waddayaknow, i didn't like it.

The Good

The game looks quite funny. It has some neat ideas like being able to "become" an object others can pick up. There's also a bunch of monsters that are quite different from each other. Trying not to smash big objects while carrying it together is kinda amusing too.

The Bad

I don't like being defenceless in games and despite weapons sort of existing, you are fragile here. Using the rare mine or grenade is clunky. If you even get to use them at all, because some monsters will instantly disable or even kill you. Fun. And you have to hope others can resurrect you at the next dropoff point, if there even is one. Otherwise you can …

Otherwise you can only sit there and wait. Which is also hate. Also, it's boring

Conclusion

R.E.P.O. feels like streamer-bait. It may be fun if you were born after the 80s and you have people to play it with. Otherwise, probably best to avoid it. After about an hour i was so bored i just wanted it to end.
