First Of The Modern Light Gun Shooters, Which Isn't A Fave Genre, But A Fun One

Preliminary: (I played the arcade version ofc) This feels like the first modern light gun shooter so far. It had all the features, and the Innocent Victim aspect was done in a more interesting way than its predecssors. Sure, it can't have the exciting movement and varied scenes of later light gun shooters, but I dunno it just felt advanced. I like how the bullet soudn was different when it hit a metal object, and the little touches of things you could shoot. I liked the ranking at the end of stages, and so on. I could only do 2 stages before burning out, but I think I would've loved this at an actual arcade. Definitely a coin eater, but so it goes.

Look: 8/10 I love the photorealistic Look lol

Beat on hard. The first 2 levels were decent but the level 3 Hijacking level was ridiculous at the end. Playing it at normal speed I lost 3 or 4 lives at the last scene up to and including the boss because I literally could not move the cursor fast enough. I ended up lowering the speed to 20 frames per second to beat that without dying. I found the last 2 levels after that to be easier though the final boss (attack helicopter) was poorly designed because there is no audio-visual feedback for shooting it in its weak point (unlike all other bosses). I imagine this game would be much better with a light gun in the arcade; on the SNES though it is mediocre. It was hilarious that some enemies come on screen saying "You can't shoot me!" over and over. Do they actually think that will work?
