Enjoyable, but I think I'd prefer to play with others

This game was fun....and I assume a decent adaptation of the board game. It would be a headache to handle all of the fiddly bits of playing this in person.

That said, due to my schedule and the schedule of others, I mostly game alone, and this would be a lot more fun with multiple people.

Good Digital Adaptation of a Great Boardgame

One Deck Dungeon is a digital adaptation of the board game with the same name. I’ll be blunt here: it’s not a good looking game and the production values on the game are low enough that I’d believe someone if they told me it was a fan-made adaptation. That said, it’s a very successful adaptation because it automates a lot of the upkeep and tiny rules that are cumbersome to follow and too easy to forget with the physical version. With 0 tear-down/set-up times you can also play a full Dungeon run in a pretty short amount of time. The game also does a great job with content variety: each character plays a bit different, each boss/level feels unique, and you can even (optionally) build your characters out to specialize in different areas over multiple runs. It’s a great digital board game adaptation but I do wish the polish & quality was higher.
