Sands of Salzaar is a bit of budget action RPG take on Mount and Blade. The basic gameplay loop is enjoyable, but there's enough surrounding issues that I'm throwing in the towel at 17 hours. There's a part of the main quest where you have to talk to 5 factions leaders, all of which move around their (rather large) zones and aren't marked. Absolutely broke my will to continue the game, since you have to find them multiple times. I'd probably have pushed through, if it weren't for the general jank and regular difficulty completing quests otherwise.
That said, I'd probably recommend it if you just want to mess around in sandbox mode. Use the infinite durability mod, since the beginning and endgame economies are just silly without it.
