I'm not particularly outdoorsy, but I have gone camping quite a few times in my life, and I'm always struck by how even the most ordinary food seems to taste better outdoors. This game's kind of the same way: It's a short, simple story told with minimal interactivity, but I found it disproportionately enjoyable. It has a lot of humor and heart, and I dig its purposely lo-fi visuals.
If I had to rate it compared to games that give me similar vibes, it'd be below A Short Hike, above Far From Noise and maybe on par with Frog Detective.

I remember when that Tom Hanks 9/11 movie came out, I could never remember the title. "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" I think it was called? I refuse to look it up. Please don't comment it. I forgot the name of this game one moment after looking at the screenshot I snapped above. However, the difference between this and "Tom Hanks presents 9/11 featuring Max Von Sydow" is that I will remember stuff from this game. It is extremely charming and well written. The kids feel very natural and funny. The adults feel human and affable. It is just nice. Little dialogue moments had me laughing my silly butt off (LMSBO as the kids say).

Did that make you smile and you enjoy visual novels? Then this short, hour-long game is for you. Did you turn your nose up and mumble "walking simulator"? Then skip this one. Some things just aren't for you!
I like Big Wide Ocean Jacket (now I'm just having fun). You might too. I frequently see it on sale on the eShop. I think I bought it for $2 and heck, I think it is worth three times that! Check it out.
