I will say... the mechanism where time passes, you have to keep yourself warm, have to eat, and have to sleep .... is kind of annoying. Yeah it's realistic, but it doesn't add anything to the game, just gives me tedious tasks to keep track of while I'm trying to adventure.

I initially stopped playing this game because it doesn't have completely voice acting, and I wanted to play it as a group experience with my partner (the way we play a lot of point-and-click adventures) but his having to read the screen all the time made that difficult.

So a year later, here I am, replaying it on my own. I lost my save file somewhere so had to restart. I really wish the combat didn't rely on the keyboard so I could play with mouse only but that's just... my own issue. :P

This game is a treasure:

I'm really surprised this game was free! It's very well done, and reminds me of the ooold King's Quest games. I wasn't interested in playing it as an RPG, just as a point-and-click, so I set the combat difficulty as far on the "easy" slider as it can go, and it's great.
