Tail of the Sun, known in Japan as Taiyo no Shippo: Wild, Pure, Simple Life, is an action role-playing video game developed by Artdink for the PlayStation. It was created by Kazutoshi Iida, who worked on Aquanaut's Holiday and would later work with Nintendo on Doshin the Giant. The player's ultimate objective is to build a tower of mammoth tusks that reaches the sun. To this end, a large map full of various creatures and oddities must be traversed in an effort to locate and gather sufficient food for the tribe to thrive and multiply.

Unique And Gorgeous, Tho Again, The Play Is Lacking
This review is for the PlayStation version

Preliminary: Very odd Look and Sound so far, but very appealing nonetheless enter image description here

Like its predecessor Aquanaut's Holiday, it is beautiful (even better! love the planets/moons and sunsets and reflections and landscape and animals etc), great music (even better than Aquanaut's too!), with a really neat idea. But again, execution isn't there, namely in the controls.

Look: 8.5/10

Sound: 8.5/10 So wild for the music, and great atmospheric sounds too.

Play: 7.5/10 Lots of neat ideas in this, just the controls and interaction with the environment can't suffice

Feel: 8/10

Attachment: 7.5/10

Overall: 8/10
