This game started off well enough. You play detective with a kitty sidekick. The game is very noir, the dialogue has lots of puns, the music is good. The visuals are okay. While the more contained areas of the game were enjoyable, the level design in general is terrible. And the lack of a map makes it even worse. I spent more time wandering aimlessly than anything else. The platforming is not strong, but there seems to be a lot of it. You carry a gun in the game which can use different types of bullets to help in the platforming and for some reason, you have to reload it manually every single time, plus it only holds 4 rounds. It's not a thing that's used sparingly either. One of the types of bullets breaks boxes and there are so many boxes, which can contain coins. Why would it make you reload every 4 shots? It's tortuous. Won't be finishing this one.
