Huge Borderlands Fan | Extremely Fun Game

I would definitely recommend a play of it and ill be 100%ing this game. This is part of playing through all borderlands before 4 . Definitely worth the $10

Crazy guns and skeletons, yay!

I got this game at some point on Playstation plus, I think. I have never played a Borderlands game before, so I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I like to do this from time to time, start a game completely blind. I usually end up enjoying them more than if I knew anything about them.

I got this game at some point on Playstation plus, I think. I have never played a Borderlands game before, so I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I like to do this from time to time, start a game completely blind. I usually end up enjoying them more than if I knew anything about them.

Right off the bat, I loved how it looked. The style is unique and pretty cool, but mostly, I like the environment of the game. A dark fantasy world filled with skeletons, golems, orcs, etc. The colors were perfect; it felt like a game made for me. On top of that, the humor is really good. Although I have to say that I missed many jokes and references because I didn't play Borderlands 2 before. I don't know who the characters are...

The music is good, but it does get very repetitive, which is a problem in the gameplay too. In order to grind and complete missions, you have to revisit the same map/level multiple times and kill the exact same enemies over and over... That got pretty boring after the first hour or so. But then again, every time I moved to a new area, the game felt awesome once more.

The gunfights were cool, but they got a bit chaotic sometimes, especially after you get good weapons and shields. There can be a lot of stuff going on, with colors, explosions, and numbers just in your face. Most of the time I didn't know what was going on, lol! There is plenty of loot, although I don't really care for it. Actually, I feel like it was way too much. Maybe it's because I am more of a survival game person, where I have just a couple of weapons and ammo, and suddenly I get weapons after killing almost any enemy, and there are chests with ammo lying around literally everywhere. It got overwhelming pretty fast, and it was more like a chore having to read the stats of so many weapons in order to choose what worked best for me.

Besides those little annoyances, I did have a great time playing this game/dlc. More than I though I would. I think I am going to check out the Borderlands series now.

Borderlands with fantasy trappings

It looked cool, it sounded funny, so I wanted to try it out. I got just some more Borderlands, the floaty controls, the incessant chase after weapons and ammo, the spongy enemies (which are now Orcs and Treants rather than robots and bandits), the far-away checkpoints and always the comparison of stats between guns.

So, while the backstory made me …

So, while the backstory made me smile a little, and I see how this could be fun with a few friends in co-op, it couldn't hold my attention for long.

Spoiler headsup! You need to play BL2 first.

Just in time for the 2022 launch of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, one of the best Borderlands expansions is back with all its D&D delights yet again. It returns as its own standalone release. Just in time for the 2022 launch of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, one of the best Borderlands expansions is back with all its D&D delights yet again. It returns as its own standalone release. It’s the exact same loot-shooter experience, complete with local/online four-player co-op. If you played and enjoyed Borderlands 2 but didn’t dip for the DLC, for instance, or completely skipped out on Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, there’s a lot here to love.

You’ll be gunning down dragons, skeleton archers, and countless orc-ish monsters in the effort to complete Tina’s fantasy-themed tabletop campaign. Having her narrate over events almost the entire time and unpredictably swap out characters and events as you go is still a cool spin as far as D&D adaptations go. You can see why the concept will soon be promoted to a full game.

All 4 of Borderlands 2’s main vault hunters are here, alongside the Mechromancer and Psycho classes released post-launch. This only being a 4-5 hour journey, however, developer Gearbox has sped up the rate at which you level up, gifting you two points to pour into your skill tree so as to keep things moving at a pace. Is this game an essential replay? Absolutely not, but as a nice primer for the upcoming Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, this cell-shaded action-fantasy is well worth the short return trip.

Just got this free on Epic store, planning to play it right after I get tired of losing in hearthstone.
