What an amazingly beautiful hidden gem. LOOK AT THAT TITLE SCREEEEEEEN.
Sumire's grandmother has passed away, her father has left, and her mother is always sad. When a magical seed crashes through her window in the middle of the night and turns into a talking flower upon being planted, Sumire finds herself not only making the next day "wonderful" for the short-lived flower, but discovering a lot about her own life.
The art is absolutely gorgeous--lots of pastel blue and purple, which is so up my alley. The music is pleasant and really suits the mood of each scene. There is a good variety in the characters, even in such a short game. It even got a little spooky and creepy at one point!
I loved this one so much. The only complaint I have is in regards to the walking, which is really slow (you can hold B to run, though), and a little awkward in that you don't always move straight.
I missed a couple of things so I'll definitely run through it again. When given choices, I was always kind so I didn't check off the challenges for stealing money, being mean, etc.

A small narrative game (a sort of "point and click" adventure type deal, but the barest of minimums as far as gameplay or puzzle-solving goes) with a lovely art style, gentle music, and a lot of heart. It's not the greatest writing (I was not nearly as blown away as the person who convinced me to pick it up was), but it was a pleasant "short story" experience with a nice message.
