What a great game this has been. This is the best offering that the Friday the 13th franchise has had when it comes to video games. It was really one of the best asymmetrical survival games out there, and there have been many that couldn’t come close to Friday the 13th as well as Dead by Daylight. For all the good times and the raising of my blood pressure, it’s sad to see this one go. I didn’t sink too much time into it over the years but it will always have a place in my heart.

Despite the hocky mask, this isn't a hocky game!

Had a lot of fun with this game playing with my cousin in 2017. Sad that this game will be shutting down forever soon. Luckily good people are going to be modding this game so it CAN stay properly preserved even when the servers die. Added extra content and unreleased + fan made content also to be released on the modded version. Super exciting stuff. This review was meant to be made on friday the 13th but I'm a bit late. The game dying is also very sad as I still have so many achievements I wanted to get, but now they are bugged and the developers won't fix it.

On the brighter side, I'll have to give this a second review (or edit this review) once I try the modded version next year!

I played this with 4-5 friends who live in different cities and don't see each other that often. So for me this game really worked, despite its flaws and early broken stages. It worked well and was probably patched when we played it the most. Jason is so OP and you really have to work together as the other characters to survive, to escape or to kill Jason. When he's after you and you sluggishly runs through a cabin knocking chairs over and he's smashing through the door behind you I find myself literally on the edge of my seat. I mean it really represents the franchise well in my opinion, and it was for free, so I'm not gonna be too harsh here. I'm looking forward to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre one.
