We Happy Few is the tale of a plucky bunch of moderately terrible people trying to escape from a lifetime of cheerful denial. Set in a drug-fuelled, retrofuturistic city in an alternative 1960s England, you'll have to blend in with its other inhabitants, who don't take kindly to people who don't abide by their not-so-normal rules.

This is just so good. Totally original, really fun and engaging, and not too serious. I really am glad to see the "gritty" era of games slowly come to an end and come back to full on escapism like they used to be.

Enjoyed playing as Arthur, since it lets you choose your playstyle. Quit very early on in Sally's part because her playstyle is basically the exact opposite of what I usually do and I was already kind of bored of the game anyway. The DLC are cool though. This game has very mixed user reviews, leaning heavily towards bad. Yet I see some people enjoy it on Steam... but I also see people with many hours NOT enjoying it. It's super discounted on Steam right now, so I think I might get it anyways... am I crazy? Maybe. I bought Outer Wilds last night using the Epic coupon. …

It's super discounted on Steam right now, so I think I might get it anyways... am I crazy? Maybe. I bought Outer Wilds last night using the Epic coupon. I don't regret that purchase, that game has been really fun so far. This one... ahh I hope I don't regret it, and the game doesn't seem short either. I DO like walking in games so maybe the thing that bothered plenty of people won't bother me? OK I've convinced myself, I'm going to get the game. It's not that expensive on a heavy sale and you only live once. (Or maybe that's a reason not to get it, lol.)
