Short, Sweet, Cute - Ahead Of Its Time For Kids DOS Games (If 1990 Is Correct)

Slow, sure, as many early DOS games are, but super cute, full of great colors and music, and seems perfect for young kids. I cannot figure out if this is for sure 1990, cuz if it's 1993, that's quite a lot later. But based on a Chicago Tribute article, this seems to be 1990 and if so, this seems very …

These ratings are based off this being in 1990, which sets it ahead of many games I thought set these precedents for DOS... Hm

Look: 9/10 I love these colors. Such a nostalgic feel to this era of DOS Look. The postal map segments boosted this.

Sound: 9/10 Full of great tunes. This and the Look is really what got me to devote more time than I found reasonable to this. This has that classic feel to the sound.

Play: 7.5/10 Sluggish segments bog it down but surprisingly good for a kids game. An adult wont get much out of the numbers factor but it's worth exploring, and it's short enough to justify it with nice Look and Sound throughout to entertain.

Feel: 8.5/10 Great Look and Sound, and setting the standard for later cozy kids DOS games, boosts this otherwise standard fare.

Attachment: 8/10 Smh I'm such a child lol

Overall: 8.4/10
