Old but Gold
If you like to feel the political situation in WW2 play Hearts of Iron, if you want a good technical aproach Panzer General is the way to go. If you are not interested in history at all, play some candy crush.
The Game includes nearly every unit, that ever fought from 1938 - 1945. This gives you endless tactical possibilities but makes the game also very hard. I enjoyed the feeling the campaign gives, from the brutal invade in poland, to the conquer of Berlin and the landing in the normandy. Best history lesson i know.
