I am runner 5!

I tried out Zombies, run for the first time yesterday. Running is hardly my main sport, but I feel I should be able to knock out a 5k in the name of all-round fitness at least. I never managed before, because running is boring as hell. The solution: Zombies, run.
ZR is a game that runs on your smartphone and periodically takes over your headset to give you small scenes about your life in the zombie apocalypse world where you are Runner 5, one of the brave heroes of Abel Township who go out on dangerous runs to gather supplies for the community. Every mission has a story that you run through while running or jogging. The stories are well acted and interesting, with plenty of twists. The app also has a small settlement building part where you can put the supplies to found to good use.
I ran a lot more and faster than I had expected. It's kind of hard not to run when someone is yelling stuff like "They're coming from the right, they're right behind you. Run for your life!" into your ears. My knees hate me today :-) I'm pretty hooked on the story now, so I'll definitely spend some more time as Runner 5.
