NBA 2K18
Enjoyable and realistic gameplay on the court but it is one hell of a grind to level up and microtransactions are rampant throughout.

This could have been so much better without the grind and micro transactions that try and stop you from the grind.

Indeed, this is a must have title for the console or PC for the people who love the NBA 2K franchise. This is definitely the best among all their previous installments.
With a major upgrade on the MyCareer mode, it gives a lot of motivation to the gamers (well, at least for me) to train and be a formidable player on the hardwood and on the street. It gives you the excitement and thrill to be playing amongst thousands of video gamers around the world.
However, we do have a big problem on 2k's server as it can't seem to handle traffic efficiently which was kind of frustrating. It's hard to fully enjoy the online MyCareer mode if you usually can't connect to the server or if you keep lagging in-game.
As for the MyTeam mode, same problem is with the server. It pisses me off to be dropped out of an online game if the network connection is unstable and I chose to make the most of my time. Especially when I'm already winning by a big margin.
I'd like to commend the game though for its great controls and total graphics upgrade as well. Man, gameplay has never been this "too realistic". You could easily play your idol the way you want him to. Like how he would play exactly in the real world. And with the graphics upgrade, it makes it really look believable.
