There are games out there like Lumencraft, arguably ones that deliver on its alternating mineral collecting and basebuilding flow better, but few that are as simple.
If you're looking for an entry point into this type of game, I think Lumencraft is a great place to start. The disproportionate amount of time it spends on its zen-like collecting aspects means its also a good 'podcast' game if you're looking for something to put up on your second monitor.
Worth the asking price.
