I liked playing it on psvr 1 when there weren't so many games, but you should probably skip it on psvr 2. The tracking is off, the sound is off and it's overall lacking in polish. If you do like dumb fun and physics based combat, there is fun to be had here.
GORN 1 First Impressions / VR Setup: My first fighting game in VR, and I loved it immediately. It was gory, physics-based, and just clicked for me, like Blade & Sorcery. Controls weren’t perfect at first, but after adjusting the VR settings on Meta Quest 3, the gameplay was smooth and comfortable.
Combat / Gameplay: You fight in arenas with the weapons the king chooses for you. Enemies are funny, armored enemies tougher and more annoying, but the combat is satisfying and brutal. Physics-based strikes and weapon variety make every fight feel chaotic and hilarious.
Difficulty: Challenging enough at first, especially against armored foes, but AI is predictable after a while. Still fun to experiment with weapon physics and different strategies.
Story / Replayability: Story is short – fight through arenas until you defeat the Alimta King. Simple, but the physics-based combat keeps replay value high.
GORN 2 First Impressions / VR Setup: A more polished version of GORN 1 with better visuals and story. Conversations with the Alimtas are funny and add personality. The Meta Quest 3 handles it well, okay performance and okay'ish VR feel.

Combat / Gameplay: Fist combat is a major downgrade – weak and unsatisfying compared to GORN 1. Weapon-based arena combat is still fun, but the melee loses some punch, sometimes you don't even hit.
Difficulty: Similar to GORN 1: not too hard overall, though ranged enemies can get annoying. AI is exploitable if you really want. Bosses are creative and cool.
Story / Replayability: Better visuals, slightly more narrative, but the core loop remains: fight, experiment, and enjoy chaotic VR combat.
Conclusion / Personal Take: GORN 1 is pure VR chaos with hilarious physics-based combat and satisfying brutality. GORN 2 polishes visuals and story, but loses some impact in melee, especially fist combat. Both are fun on Meta Quest 3, perfect for VR brawlers who love over-the-top arena fights.
