I thought the Cat Quest titles were simple action mobile games. Oh boy was I wrong. This game really surprised me with fun (if a little chaotic) combat, a great equipment system that allows for very diverse builds, fun exploration in a map full of secrets an a story with some dark elements and even a little of cosmic horror. All of that without stopping being a funny and cute game best played with a loved one.

And puns. So... many... puns.
THIS GAME IS PERFECT. The visuals are fantastic. The gameplay is top notch. The controls are flawless. The exploration is satisfying. Doing side quests and getting extra gears are actually fun and make you overpowered in a good way. Every weapon is unique and fun to use. The whole aesthetic and dialogues are such a charm. There's nothing like this you can get from any other game in such a polished way. I don't know how I didn't discovered this series sooner and they have planned to make 9 GAMES in this series. A MUST PLAY.
This game is quite delightful. Initially it appears to be a silly little game where you are a cat that’s a pirate (and it is, there’s nothing wrong with that). However, it actually is a very fun game too and quite addicting. There are a lot of weapons, armor, trinkets, spells, etc to collect and upgrade and they all do feel distinct to play with and create a good build with them.
The open world is just big enough to be interesting to explore with many secrets and charming side quests and small enough in scale to not feel too overwhelming.
As a result it’s a very charming and chill game that’s at the same time engaging. I love it!! Cat pirates!! Can’t believe I didn’t play this series before.
I’m not feeling the best today, kinda got a stomach ache. Playing this on the steam deck. It’s making me feel better, curling up with my real cats and playing this one lol. I’m determined to get all the achievements.
SO glad to be done with this game. Didn't enjoy it much at all. No idea where to go, it has gotten repetitive, and worst of all, the difficulty is insane (for me). I struggled a lot fighting enemies because some of them have a rolling attack that, if it hits you, repeatedly damages you and you can't block it. It usually kills you before the attack is over. Extremely frustrating. Definitely a 180 from the first game which was nothing but a pleasure to play.
