Revisited this for the first time in 10 years or so. It's non-stop misogynistic, the plot is meandering nonsense, and the combat's incredibly repetitive. But its innovative MP system, where players have a very limited MP pool that they can replenish by pulling off big plays, is still genius and I wish better games would copy it.

Incomprensibile

Tranne la bella grafica e lo stile giapponese molto caratteristico, non si salva nient'altro. Gioco incomprensibile, combat system arcano e stracomplicato, griglia per navigare nella mappa inconcludente, trama abbozzata per quanto sia mission based. Un vero peccato Voto: 5/10

1 and a half hours in and I probably should have looked into the combat system before purchasing. Plus the tutorials weren't to my liking. Will try and push on...

There is a learning curve here? It's incredibly steep? Or the game is a piece of unbalanced turd. I really wanted to like this one. Like a lot. But it was always out of my grasp, the many tutorials left a lot out? Who knows. First real boss, after a billion tries, left me completely decimated, so, being a veteran of the RPG racket, I went to grind. And I ground, and ground, and ground, and, level progression was not to be seen in any sort of reasonable time. Your characters level is based on their weapon proficiency and seem to flat line until you make some progress. The Turn-Based-Yet-Real-Time strategy thing was not my deal. It should have been one or the other, or at the very least, something closer to Eternal Sonata's system. Maybe when I have heaps of patience, this will get a revisit, but that's extremely unlikely.

Currently stuck in Chapter 4, in the godsdamned statue escorting part. I don't know how much more of this madness I can take. Just want more outfits for Leanne.
