Video games inspired by Disney films is nothing new, and any more it is to be expected. Toy Story 3 offers all the Disney charm in a digital rendition of the movie, adding some unique content not found in the films.
Along with the story mode, Toy Box Mode offers players with an open wordish stylization of Woody's Round Up that has customizable aspects and free roam to explore the desert lands and find new challenges.
It's not a bad game, enjoyable at times. Not Disney's best, but far from their worst.
A lot of the problems that plague movie tie in games still exist here. Toy Story is poorly paced, clunky, and overall lacks polish. It's mediocre campaign is saved by the official movie soundtrack and the ambitious Woody's Roundup mode, which is an open world adventure that exists independent of the main campaign.
If you like the movie series, I would definitely say give this a look.
