Floppy Knights is really close to being a great one. Its major flaw for me is how long everything takes. From mission length to waiting on enemy turns, and the slow loading of the menu system it can be a drag. If this were a physical card game, I suspect it's be the kind people buy booster packs for solely to admire the art within, and never to play with. Play Dicey Dungeons or Slay the Spire instead.
Interesting combination of turn based grid strategy and deck builder as the main gameplay loop. However, having permanent locked cards in the deck restricted combinations too much in my opinion. Gameplay speed was also a bit slow, and could do with a fast forward, especially on enemy turns.
Some stages provided a bit of a challenge, especially when trying to hit bonus objectives. But overall, most stages can be cleared with a turtling strategy or a speed-run type tactic.
Nothing too engrossing about the story, and it only kind of picks up in the final few stages.
Overall, game is good as a time waster, just enough to get your mind off things for awhile.

I've seen so many people complain about the card system, saying it didn't add much to the game... but i'm playing it right now and it's kinda 100% of the game? I dont understand what they meant lol
