I played this in "pancake mode" several years ago and very much enjoyed the plot and the atmosphere. (see what I did there?).

This time, I installed it and played over wireless Virtual Desktop from Steam on my Gen1 Oculus Quest.

Wow!!

I was amazed! I was actually holding my breath trying to conserve air in my suit, which clearly didn't help the situation.

Looking around the station was great. The controls took a few minutes to grok, but were easy to use and enjoyable overall. If only I hadn't played this before and could play the entire thing this way, I'd love it....but there's just too much to be replaying games I know unless it REALLY deviates from the original.

Overall, I'd recommend the game, and if you have the ability, do it in VR. You'll love it.
