THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD: Remake is precisely that, a remake of one of the most iconic and best rail-shooters of all time. In terms of core gameplay and story, there isn’t much; however, the touch-ups are all that was needed for a perfect refresh.

Read moreHonestly just a waste of money. As a long time fan of the House of the Dead series, this game is honestly the worst out of the entire series. This game feels so soulless and the game has little to no content. You can beat the entire game and see everything there is to see in under 1 hour. The whole game just feels like a big middle finger to the HOTD series as a whole. Although this game is a remake, this game is too faithful to the original. Every single enemy you fought in the 1st game you will fight in this game. They could have at least rehauled some of the gameplay but no, the bosses are just as easy and just as boring as before. You will beat every boss in less than 30 seconds and there are no unique mechanics. The only time you will find yourself taking damage is by something flying at you offscreen or when you are given little to no time to react. All in all, just don't buy this game.

da quando era stato annunciato il remake non vedevo l'ora di provarlo. Ottimo remake grafico, ma putrtoppo il gioco resta quello di una volta, ossia molto corto (4 livelli per un totale di 60 minuti). Si gioca molto bene e lo consiglio a tutti, ma sicuramente non a prezzo pieno. Adesso solo un'altra lunga attesa per il remake del secondo …
