Haxiel's review of Down in Bermuda
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

Down in Bermuda is a short and sweet puzzle game. You play as a downed pilot trying to escape the Bermuda triangle. Gameplay-wise, this translates to a series of islands to traverse, each island being a self-contained puzzle. There's a unique look-and-feel to each island, and the environment contains man-made contraptions as well as natural monsters. The puzzles are simple and context-oriented - search for some things, push some buttons, activate some levers, and the like.

This game is short enough (2-3 hours) that you can play the whole thing in one sitting if you feel like it. It's also gentle and charming, a pleasant way to spend some time on a light fantasy adventure.

"L'effet playskool"

Very high quality puzzle point and click

Down in Bermuda is a puzzle point and click adventure game from the devs of Agent A, where this time you play as an omnipotent “hand in the sky” being, helping a man who crashed in the Bermuda Triangle escape its labyrinth. It’s very stylish, full of collectibles and puzzles, and is just a blast start to finish.

It’s unique as well. If I had to describe it with reference points - it is like if The Touryst, The Room, and Tinykins had a baby. You are viewing a series of islands through an isometric point of view, and you can pan, zoom in, and even rotate the world. You slowly advance by solving each island’s puzzles, but there’s also hidden object game mechanics where you can find other optional collectibles.

It’s a game you can finish in a day, or even a single sitting. And it’s pretty hard not to. It’s a visual treat and the gameplay is just fun and snappy. I think some of the controls could be refined- using a mouse, sometimes the controls felt sluggish and rotating felt like the axis point would randomly be close or far from the camera. But otherwise it’s just …

Pretty fun find-it puzzle game. Short and sweet with interesting visuals. Would recommend it on PC since it works best with a mouse (found it to be difficult to play on switch).

I loved their previous game, "Agent A", however, this one didn't click with me. The setting seems too arbitrary, just some random puzzles (and the early ones are as simple as pushing a button, literally) pieced together with a bit of hidden object flavor on top. Moving and rotating the screen is tedious on a PC. I might try to play it again on mobile/handheld devices in the future.

Would be nice if they had bothered to finish the game.
