You will meet monsters and you will need skill and tactics to defeat them. You will find weird and wonderful treasures along the way. Most will help you, but some might not. You may choose to play as a Crusader, a Witch or a Mercenary – in fact each one might well be required if you are to successfully complete your quest – but knowing when to use each one is something you are going to have to figure out for yourself.

Are you a bad enough dude to save the realm from a big tentacle evil thing?

This game has been on my roster on and off. It is actually very short and charming! The first few dungeons are free, and the rest you can get for something like a dollar now.

As for the game itself, it is very fun. The battle system is very nice and I enjoyed it a lot. Extremely fair, if you are an awesome observational player you can really wreck every boss you come across. Basically you have two options to attack and defend. The enemy has the same options, and you correlate the timing of your attacks and defense to reflect your predictions the enemy will make. Each enemy has a different attack/defend pattern, and that also changes depending on how deep you are in the dungeon. The battles happen 1 on 1 with monsters and bosses, and each dungeon has about 10 monsters and a boss, with exception to the endless dungeon. I think I went down about 50 monsters before I died.

You have three different characters you can play, all with different attack styles and special abilities.

The Knight is your standard unit. Average speed, attack, and a solid defense. If you hold the attack button you …

You have three different characters you can play, all with different attack styles and special abilities.

The Knight is your standard unit. Average speed, attack, and a solid defense. If you hold the attack button you can heal yourself after awhile. This leaves you open for attack.

The Witch is probably my favorite unit, although probably not the best. Her attacks cost magic, and in order to replenish her magic you have to hold the attack button. You time this replenishment with the enemy's defense, and sometimes the timing is rather difficult and some enemies don't have a big enough time window for you to replenish. Without magic her attack is cut to 1/3. But with magic and some special talents bought at the altar, her damage output multiplies by ~6. This lets you finish off entire dungeons with ease if you can replenish your magic by using a potion, finding a bloody altar, or random magical torrent events that happen each floor that replenish magic.

The Mercenary is the other unit. He is more like a thief or a rogue. He fights with daggers and he's a really fast unit. The downside is he starts out with very low attack and health. Still, in the time it takes other units to attack once, he will be able to attack 3-5 times depending on how well you have upgraded him. His talents at the altar allow him to increase his magical torrent and health replenish after each floor. This makes him probably the best unit in the game. If you have the right items you can totally wreak havoc on every monster you come across.

The game has a ton of different secrets too! Certain items when carried along a dungeon will create optional trade events with priests and townspeople that give you really cool rare legendary items.

I would recommend anyone this little game. It is a fun time-waster and probably one of the best games to have on your phone. This game sits well right next to Braveheart, Knights of Pen and Paper, and bit Dungeon.

Its a pretty short game, and has an endless(?) dungeon at the end. :D

3 classes and they all play differently.
