Done. No patch is going to fix the AI in this game. Rookie level allows to you play without hitting a ball out of the court and you do not have to line up your shot with any accuracy as you cannot aim OUTSIDE the court. A very good starter difficulty for those new to the game. However, this mode teaches bad habits.

Once you move the difficulty up one notch to Amateur, you have to time your shots as well as aim and you can aim outside the court. This will take a bit of practice to get good. The bad habits of rookie will show once you have to actually aim INSIDE the court to try and keep the ball in.

This works most times if done right. You'd expect maybe players in the top-50 or so to be amazingly good at returning your shots, not a player ranked fuck-all on the amateur circuit.

2/5 (4/10) as the career mode would have been great without the super-human AI.
