How can you mess up hexgrid combat so badly?
I really want to like this game but the core gameplay -tactical battles- is dreadful. Units can't move. No, that's not a joke. Units can only move and attack or retreat, otherwise they're stuck. This means there are almost no tactical options, there are no attacks of opportunity either. Units also have to be placed in one of three rows, limiting your choice of units. On top of that there is a lack of sound effects and combat animations. You're just going through the motions, one boring unbalanced battle after another. I was hoping for Conquistador meets Mount & Blade, shame really.
