I really wanted to like this game, but the second half killed any joy I had for it. How could anyone think good game design is asking the player to replay dungeons and bosses they have already completed 4 additional times? I really wanted to like this game, but the second half killed any joy I had for it. How could anyone think good game design is asking the player to replay dungeons and bosses they have already completed 4 additional times? With a couple exceptions the story was generic and the writing was disappointing. Only get this game if you like grinding, difficulty spikes requiring more grinding or cheese strats, and repetitive dungeon and boss runs. Much better options out there to play.

Trying to figure out at what point I can allow myself to get this game, especially if I end up purchasing it at full price. At first I told myself I can when I unlock all the things in Mario Kart World but at this rate, I suck too bad to do that within a decent amount of time and currently there's no record of all the collectibles in-game. It is coming to my attention that MKW is more a short burst, long-term experience than something to beat all at once.

So now I'm telling myself I have to finish going through the NES library such as beating them, watching longplays of them, or just playing them until I feel finished.

I'm trying so hard to be consistent about completing games more than I purchase them but also trying not to gatekeep myself too hard from the experiences I know I'll enjoy.

Just beat super Mario RPG on switch 2 and now I've just started this today and already have 3 hours in and can't stop, because it's AMAZING! The music in bravely default flying fairy is absolutely incredible and pulls at the heart strings because it reminds me of the classic jrpg music from the glory days of final fantasy.

Square ENIX pulled it off again..... 3 hours in only and Bravely Default Flying Fairy has me GLUED to the screen. The music pops on my dolby atmos sound bar 5.1 system!

Happy Saturday gaming all. May your games be righteous! I have put in dozens of hours already on my switch 2. Never would have thought I'd play so much of a Nintendo console ever again, but nowy series X and PS5 are collecting dust, lol.
