The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is the first Zelda game made exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. It is an indirect sequel to A Link to the Past with the same version of Hyrule but with new characters and gameplay elements. Unlike the series' tradition, many areas of the world are accessible from the beginning of the game and the dungeons can be visited in any order. Puzzles are encountered not only in dungeons but also in the open world, a part of them revolves around the game's 3D visual effect. The 3DS touch-screen display shows the world, dungeon or map depending on where you are. Read less

Just started playing this. So far, it's everything I hoped for and more. I love how it went bad to its old school roots by choosing a top down perspective, while still adding a more modern twist by turning into a painting. I love how it went bad to its old school roots by choosing a top down perspective, while still adding a more modern twist by turning into a painting. At first I wasn't sure about the renting method of items, but it turned out to be a good way to get through dungeons.

I finished A Link Between Worlds yesterday and loved it! Such a wonderful game. It was kind of fun playing it while most other people were playing Majora's Mask. Jokes on them. I got to play a good Zelda. :)

Well I think I've gotten everything in Link Between Worlds... so it's time to go to that evil castle. :)

I'm getting really close to the end of Link Between Worlds and I seriously love it. It's one of the best Nintendo games I've played in years. Sadly I think I've missed some key items and I don't want to finish it until I track them down.

More vacation updates! I started A Link Between Worlds on my shiny red New 3DS and holy crap it feels like a wonderful time machine. I could not be happier being back in my favorite version of Hyrule (and gaming world in general) of all time. This game is absolutely wonderful so far.

Doesn't matter the Zelda, you can guarantee that the art direction and getting the Power Glove is satisfying. #linkbetweenworlds

I'm thinking today is going to be a Zelda day with the snowpocalypse going on here in good ole Indiana.

4 sages down, and a bunch of hearts collected. So much to do in this game.

Three sages rescued. The renting items thing is a double edged sword. I like how it opens the game up, and you can run around doing whatever you want because you have everything you need for the most part. However, when you die fighting a dungeon boss, and you have to go back and re-rent the item you need for …

Three sages rescued. The renting items thing is a double edged sword. I like how it opens the game up, and you can run around doing whatever you want because you have everything you need for the most part. However, when you die fighting a dungeon boss, and you have to go back and re-rent the item you need for that level, that sucks. Overall, the game is awesome and you should play it.

Master Sword, check. Dark world with seven things I need to get, working on it. This game's still good. That Master Sword makes the sword swipe even better.

Hey guys, this game is pretty good. Especially if you like Zelda. I finished the second dungeon last night. That sword swipe is still pretty solid.

The sword swipe in this game is super satisfying. I give that part of it at least a 5 out of 5.
