It gets boring surprisingly fast

Shadows Awakening is not a bad game, it's just not interesting. The game starts off well, but once you leave the starting city it quickly loses its charm and the whole gameplay becomes just a grinding loop where you don't even care about the story. The maps are empty and there's nothing to do, but you have to keep going back and forth to the same places for boring fetch quests. I played for about 10-15 hours, but I got to the point where I realized that I didn't care about the game at all and I gave up because I didn't have the will to finish it.

I'm going to start with the positive. I like the concept. It's a Diablo-like, but you can swap your characters in and out with a stable of characters, each with different powers and effects on the map. I think this is cool. It's not something I've seen before.

The bad. The control of the characters seems rough. I had a rough time find what was interact-able on the map and think it needs a highlight all type of key. On top of this, when I was about five to ten hours in, something happened to my save and it forced me to restart....that's when I called it and decided to move on.

Glad I tried it, but content that I'm not going to finish it.
