Super fun platformer Metroidvania
The Ramsey is a 12 hour platforming Metroidvania, where you play as a squirrel trying to save the planet. The game is broken up into 15 different zones, but it plays like a Metroid game - lots of backtracking, secrets, abilities, etc.
I had an absolute blast! The level design is excellent, the gameplay feels unique and polished, and it’s just super well paced. The combat is simple and not a main focus, but the platforming is very fleshed out and varied.
It is overpriced, but it’s worth it if you can catch a sale. If you want a cute, fun, simple Metroidvania, this is a solid choice.
