Rogue is a dungeon crawling video game first developed by Michael Toy and Glenn Wichman around 1980. It was a favorite on college Unix systems in the early to mid-1980s, in part due to the procedural generation of game content.

best microcomputer RPG I've played yet. This is so fun, inspired so many games I later played (ironically, I traditionally bemoan roguelikes, but the FFX-2 side game in the tower helped me overcome that), literally like 800 bytes yet infinite gameplay, awesome community, great documentation and helpful spoiler-free guides online.
