I made my Steam account for this game, so it will always have some meaning. Our World of Warcraft guild wanted to try it out, so we all bought the Collector's Edition, thinking it would replace WoW.
It wasn't, but that was more because we were all seriously addicted to WoW than because the game was bad. It had a lot going for it, but I never gave it a fair chance. The star rating reflects my experience of the game and is not a commentary on its quality at the time or today. I went back once in 2018, but they had changed so much — especially the monetisation — that I uninstalled it after less than an hour. I haven't looked back since, but today my friends and I were talking about how we came to Steam, which took me down memory lane.
