The films will forever hold a special place in my heart. At a young age I looked up to Peter Parker as the loner at my school who forever dreamed of standing up to my bullies. It sounds silly but Uncle Bens teachings that with great power comes great responsibility, and how Peter always strived to be the better person, guided me in a funny sort of way. It was great to relive all of those emotions again and really shows the power of cinema.

They're showing the entire Spidey collection in the UK, I loved the original trilogy so gonna go watch the other two films over the next couple of weekends! The games were great too! Especially love Spider-Man 2 Enter Electro (PS1), Spider-Man 2 (PS2) and Ultimate Spider-Man (PS2).

It's pizza time!!

It ain't Spider-Man 2 (2004) but it's still fun in its own right. A charming take on the first Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movie with good ol' combat, levels, and the occasional web-swinging, if you can believe it.

It's probably not gonna blow your mind, but if you're a simp for the webhead, you'll probably have a fun time. Especially with …

Woah, WTF! That's a "Actually" a good game?

Wow, So, the last time I played this game was like 2011/2012-ish, I don't remember liking this game at all back in the day, I remember being too hard for me even compared to Super Mario Bros. 3.

Wow, So, the last time I played this game was like 2011/2012-ish, I don't remember liking this game at all back in the day, I remember being too hard for me even compared to Super Mario Bros. 3.

I just couldn't get through the "Green Goblin" levels, and used to get my fun out through Cheats.

Now playing this title again, I can assure you that This is a Great title. No, It's not a Sh!t-post.

The quality of this game is surprisingly High, I liked the variety in the combat, the design of the levels are well made, the little details of Spidey hiding in the dark areas and the stupid stuff like the game realizing it's limitations and mocking it in most of the levels were fun, even the hardest of Levels that I had problems with when I was younger were very easy to pass.

Then you got the Content which is also surprising. a Beat'em Up-esque side games were fun and they're throwing more enemies at you than the Main-Story itself enter image description here Hidden boss fight and stuff like that, the rest of the Side-Mini games do resemble the side missions of the later Open world games like Ring and Time challenge.

You can Also play as the GREEN GOBLIN!!! Complete with lines recorded from former VA of Spider-man "in the game" before Maguire got on board with the project, Making it feel like a different story when playing with the Goblin. Playing as the Green Goblin felt so brutally satisfying after you beat the game on Hard and well deserved too.

My few Cons on this title is: 1> The webbing-bar is annoying and useless to include when Tobey's Spider-man already got organic web.

2> I really don't know how does the Camera programmer can sleep at night knowing how F#<King Awful of job was done. It was literally causing me more than 80% of my deaths in this game, It is very obnoxious and a Pain to deal with.

Surprise Surprise, Most of the negative that comes from this game is because of the Camera, Honestly, how hard was it to develop a camera for a 3D game in the early 2000s? You already had an entire Generation previously to figure it out. By that point, no wonder why this game got very average reviews when it came out.

I have very fond memories of Spidey 2, and loved Insomniac's Spider-Man, so I wanted to give this a whirl.

There is a lot of Bruce Campbell, so that's good. Moving Spider-Man feels so clumsy that I was done with it after an hour. There is probably an ok game here if you stick with it, and it seems like …

There is a lot of Bruce Campbell, so that's good. Moving Spider-Man feels so clumsy that I was done with it after an hour. There is probably an ok game here if you stick with it, and it seems like they did a good job of capturing the feel of the movie. However, I think I will jump ahead to Ultimate Spider-Man. I see no reason to shatter my nostalgia of SM2 by replaying it now. Also, I just don't want to chase balloons.

Look, this isn't actually a great game, but my partner LOVES Spider Man and was so excited when the first trilogy came out so OF COURSE we had this game. Future Spider Mans web swinging mechanics were too difficult for me to master, so I loved the nonsensical "push one button, magic webs forever, except over Central Park". Once I earned the weird "ricochet back and forward on some webbing" combo and the web dome I was golden for all the fights. For the whole game. Plus, they had so few phrases they are burned into my memory forever and we STILL quote them to each other:

How do you like my razor bats?

Jane! Get me off this crazy thing!

And the Kraven level was legit cool. So pretty much, I wish I could replay it right now.
