This is what the Gameboy was made for
This review is for the Game Boy Color version

The Gameboy Color was made for 3 franchises: Pokemon, Mario and Wario.

This is the best game on this classic handheld console. A great from the first TCG with a new story, a brand new villain with his 8 evil islands, and the introduction of dark pokemon cards.

There’s just so many content in this little game. It expanda from the first game by imposing deck conditions for various battles. It’s fun enough to former pokemon kids, now adults, tied to their favorite childhood characters for hours.

There is no new features, graphics improvements or audio. May even consider this an expansion pack to the first game rather than a new game, which loses one rating star for me.

Completed on emulator, 10 hours. A fine expansion to the original Pokémon TCG for the GB. This time you are forced to make changes to your deck from time to time, which is a nice change of pace compared to the first one.

If you liked GB1, you will most likely enjoy GB2.

So far very similar to the first one. It's been a few years since I played so I don't mind, but I was hoping for a bigger difference in available cards than I'm seeing so far.
