This is one of the few modern remakes that have surpassed the original game. Needless to say, this installment is the best way to delve into the Trails universe.

Combat is fun and mostly flexible, narratively its kind of boring for most of it but gets better towards the end, and you do end up pretty attached to the characters

Trails Fans Dream
If you’re a Trails fan and replay them over and over from the beginning, and one of your wishes has been that you could see Liberl in 3d instead of 2.5d, than this game not only grants that wish, but grants extra wishes you never even knew you had! A delight for me from start to finish, and I am just short of furious that this isn’t my first Trails intro.

If i could git it a score out of 10, i give it 11 ! Thats how good this remake is.
Firstly, this is the first game in the legend of heroes franchise that i play and i absolutely hooked ! i have play all other installments to date ( one available to PC tho ), and i really dig the world of zemuria and all the lores. It hugeeee !
All companies should learn from this, it should be set as the standard bar of remake. Unlike what they done with FF remake, i guess theres people enjoyed it , and some has other opinions.. IMO, remake should make major improvement for all modern aspects except the story. u change the story, its essentially new game lol
Anyway i dont have to list PRO and CONS for this game coz there no CONS . Literally. except maybe one, esteele shouted " Whatttttttttttttt" , and i lost counts how many lmao that good be suprised by anything lol
As for PROs, u guessed it. Everything done right.
How is the Second Chapter remake so far away arghhhhhhhh Cant wait, meanwhile i just need to finish one more. Kuro No kaseki …

Last installment i enjoyed was Trails of reverie. After that, Van akride and the gang, snooze fest mate . but since they tiding up the whole series, i have to play . lel
Just tried out the demo and the combat seems pretty fun. I’ve never been too into the anime aesthetic but I can tolerate it if it’s not overbearing (cough xenobladechronicles2 cough). Anyway I’m gonna mull over buying this for another week or so until I talk myself into/out of it, in the meantime if anyone has thoughts about this game I’d love to hear them!

My steelbook and game finally came in today, nearly a week late. I don't plan to play it for a while, though, so it's no biggie. The rest of the stuff for the edition that I picked up comes in November or something.
So...I still haven't finished my playthrough of the original. I got pretty far like a year ago and got busy, and I've been wanting to get back to it. I didn't intend to preorder this because I want to finish the OG on Deck first, but the Bracer Supply Box version was super tempting. I missed that, and the Limited Run Games version of the Bracer Edition, but Clear River Games has copies. They're shipping games for release date and the goodies themselves will be November or December.
I've never ordered from a European company before, but it doesn't seem like I'd have any issues with playing it in regards to region..?
