Just beat it. It's pretty short. I think maybe 3 ish hours.
I mostly enjoyed the campaign. I always found that the game was pretty hard on the NES. It seems to be sort of a short sequel with pretty much the same mechanics. You buy books to learn new moves, get money from beating up baddies, and buy new shoes/gloves/belts/shirts to adjust your attack powers.

Pretty fun.
