Short and sweet. Really chill game that deserves more recognition
I wanna get this out of the way, I'm probably really biased cause this is one of my childhood games. So I'm really nostalgic to it.

This game is really sweet. The basic premise is that you get the power, given to you by the king, to help the people of different islands from all around the world. Simple and fun. It's not complicated, and it doesn't need to be. The game isn't a big epic story, it's just about traveling around the world with your friends to help people, and get even more friends. That's when this game gets to shine. It's characters, while not very deep and complex, are very distinguished. Everyone has their own personality and objectives. And they're all very endearing. You get to meet so many characters, and I can't think of one that I absolutely despise.
I have to really emphasize on the game's pacing. While you'll make progress really quick, it's really... slow. And I think that's a good thing, kinda. I feel this game is meant to be played as a little, side game. It's really chill, you might even start yawning lol. But again, I don't think it's necessarily bad. Lately, I've been playing before sleeping, and while it keeps me engaged cause I enjoy it, I also get really sleepy; it's basically like a fun sleeping pill lol. But that's just me tho, maybe if you play it, you'll find it really exciting.
I want to mention the creative side of the game. The islands are all based around a theme, and every single one is excellent in that sense. While some are better than others, there's not a single one that makes me want to kill myself lol. Even if you hate one, the game goes so fast you'll get out of it really quickly. You could probably skip it entirely, since the game doesn't need you to do all of the islands to "finish" the game.
I would suggest you try it, just for fun. In a night you don't have anything to play, or maybe when you're just in a mood to relax and not think much. There's so much I'm leaving out tho, so I hope you want to experience it by yourself.
