I already expected to like this game quite a bit, but I enjoyed it even more than I thought I would. The original game is my favorite 3DS game, and this sequel is even better. And the exciting thing is that it keeps getting better with each subsequent update, with more expansive updates planned for the future. Super convenient to change lives, QoL features like teleportation, mounts, not needing SP to run, and climbing walls makes the game feel great to play. It feels like a mix between MapleStory, the open world Zeldas, and Animal Crossing and I love all of those things. My main critiques of the game are that at times it can feel grindy, there's a lot of gacha, lives are poorly balanced, the life mini games can be a bit repetitive, and I wish you could play multiplayer to complete the story. I'd honestly recommend this game for most people because it's bound to have something to draw you in. I don't plan on 100%ing the game, but I got my monies worth and I'm happy. Although I will say that this game made me lose trust in Keiji Inafune led projects.
