Now i do have a bit of a tendency to declare things the worst X ever, but TFH truly does have mind-blowingly terrible controls. First there's 10 minute long intro cutscenes in which you have to manually speed up text... with z? Then you finally are allowed to actually play the game. I want to set the text speed to the fastest option so i pressed Escape. Nothing happened. I tried most of the buttons on the keyboard and i never found the one that brings up the menu.
But alright, i persevere. I walk a bit (topdown). And then there's a jumping section (2D). And you walk a bit more. Followed by another jumping section. It says: "super jump arrow down (quick), diagonal arrow up". I tried about 10 times, nothing worked.
And then i had to use Alt+F4, because the incompetent space aliens who made this garbage didn't have a normal button for the menu.
