Utawarerumono: Mask Of Truth is a rad game

Haku is rad.

Kuon is REALLY just incredibly rad. She's just the best.

Nekone wasn't rad very much last game, but she's rad this game.

Atuy has always been rad as hell.

Ururuu and Saranna are both rad, and there are times in which they're the absolute best.

Ougi absolutely was rad basically constantly and all the time. Nosuri was rad a little bit less than Ougi, but was still a badass constantly.

Fumirul is weird as hell. However, there are times in which she was rad.

There are no times in which Kiwru was rad. What a dweeb.

Itak is even worse.

Rulutieh is, eh, so-so. Ok, she can be rad sometimes. Not as rad as Shis, though.

Anju was rad when it mattered.

Munechika, was... well. She existed.

Jachdwalt was rad, but not as rad as his daughter.

Mikazuchi was really rad.

This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

This is the big finale and it really delivers. I’ll admit, the soft-reset at the beginning threw me off at first, but once the story got moving, it was clear that the stakes were much higher this time.

The buildup from the first two games finally pays off. The only downside is that the last part felt a bit 'stretched', just when you think it’s over, another stage or hour of reading pops up. It makes the pace feel a little bumpy at the very end.

But honestly? It was a beautiful experience. I totally get the hype now.

I had put this game down for a while And I've been very consistent recently in playing. And it's SO GOOD! I'm sitting here wondering why I ever put it on pause to begin with.
