For the time this was released it is a pretty comprehensive racing experience. There is a huge amount of things you can do in the game, with a pretty astonishing number of different cars and a good assortment of tracks. The licence's are an interesting idea but personally not for me in a racing game - I prefer a pick up and play experience to one where I have to complete the requirements for the licence before I can compete in most of the races. The way in which you unlock cars is also good but I don't have the motivation to put enough time into this game to unlock very much. I'm sure a very good game for its time, where the racing holds up decently but if you're going to invest time into a racing game you might as well choose a new one. Got sent this for free when I bought my PS2 - nice to have but doubt I will play much more
