Read moreOh dang, I've only played one run (outside of the tutorial) so far, but this is really good. I'll have to play more before making any grand claims, but I'll say that it's more to my taste than Slay the Spire. There's a bit more mechanical complexity and a lot more control. In particular, there's a sideboard for extra cards and everything retains by default. That means you can swap in and out AoE cards when you need to and always hold on to that block. Each run feels more like a little TCG session, which is really refreshing.
