V1CGaming's review of Sworn

At its core, Sworn isn't bad and has all the makings of a fun game to keep you entertained for several hours. Beyond that, however, it stops offering any real enjoyment or gameplay depth. Compared to other behemoths, it's the one that sits closest to its comfort zone, also benefiting from a co-op system for up to four players that could make the difference.

Varied in the progression of the four heroes, the biggest obstacle is the pace of the game, which alternates between really slow and fast moments, where, however, the slow pace of our heroes never manages to respond to the game world with any real responsiveness. It takes a bit of practice, at least in the first few hours, which feature a rather steep difficulty curve.

This game is laughable. I will say, up front I only played 1 run, but that's because I felt like I could figure out everything I needed to from that one run. In a world where Hades didn't exist, this could at best be an OK game, but in a world where Hades exists, this is just a worse Hades in everyway. The artstyle in the overworld is fine but the character models aren't very good, the dash and weapons are clunky, the level layout and progression is literally just a straight copy from Hades, the mobs aren't that interesting, there's no like personality or soul to the game. This isn't to be rude to the devs, but just the idea and game as a whole, outside of it having a multiplayer option, I just see no reason this game should exist. 3/10
